Once we are past sexual puberty and have begun to be sexually active, our minds, both consciously and subconsciously, begin to create representations, ideas and fantasies related to having sex.
Sexual fantasies originate in the imagination and can elicit feelings of arousal in the individual concerned. They are often about some dream or personal desire related to sexuality, acts which are unusual during sex, unlikely things, or things that are immoral according to certain social parameters.
We all have fantasies
One thing that is for sure is that we all have sexual fantasies. Everyone has, at some point, imagined doing something unusual during sex. However, sometimes prejudices and baseless embarrassment from our upbringings or religions can stop us from talking about those fantasies. But don’t worry! Now, it is true that sometimes it is not easy to fulfil those fantasies, since it is very common for them to have something to do with a situation that is not well-viewed by society. The desire to participate in an orgy or threesome is very common, especially among younger people. This fantasy is related to wanting to experiment and feel what it is like to be with someone new again, plus of course, having sex with more than one person at once.

Forbidden or casual sex
Forbidden activities generate adrenaline, and adrenaline becomes arousal. It is very normal to be attracted to things that break the rules and sometimes even the law. Examples of this include sex in public places, clandestinely with colleagues, or with strangers.
One of the most common sexual fantasies among men and women is being able to be unfaithful without getting caught. Similarly, being with an ex-lover or an impossible one, such as your best friend’s partner.

The human mind goes to strange places, it’s true, but there are fantasies that are actually within many people’s reach, particularly because nowadays lots more people are prepared to speak openly about their fantasies. The most important thing when it comes to fulfilling our sexual fantasies is to feel at ease and to enjoy ourselves.
