“On MissaX.com we love to push the boundaries of taboo, and I was so thrilled when Ricky Greenwood pitched Under the Veil to us,” studio head Missa X said. “Ricky Greenwood put all of his love into this project. He not only came up with the concept and directed the film, but he also edited it! I believe his talent as a director is accredited to his passion for the product to be the best.”

She continued, “We knew we needed a phenomenal actress to star as the lead—Kenna James, was a no-brainer. Ricky and I have both directed her for years and we know her to be talented as hell, reliable, and consistently amazing, whether her role is large or small. I hope she will get the recognition she deserve.”

“I want to thank Ricky and Missa so much for putting me in this amazing role!“ James offered. “Working with Ricky is always an immense pleasure and I love the diversity in characters that I get to adopt. Everything about this film is absolutely amazing and I’m so proud to be a part of it.”

Added Stokely, “What an amazing opportunity to challenge myself and grow as an actress! I’ve never acted as a blinded person before as an actress or a sexual performer. I can’t tell you which sex scene was my favorite as they were all so different, but having sex with prosthetics over my eyes, completely inhibiting my ability to see, was a challenge that I’ll never forget nor regret! It’s amazing how it increased my sexual appetite to have my mind focused solely on feel, taste, touch and smell. The crew was so amazing in helping me walk safely around set to make sure I didn’t bump into any walls. I loved the script and my character’s role in the story as I feel connected to her personally. And as for the movie as a whole … I have one more thing to say: Ricky Greenwood!”

Locke echoed, “From beginning to end, the experience was like no other. Watching the characters unfold and be curated by the director and his talented crew was so unique. Their eye for artistry through symbolism, lighting and staging truly brought the film to another level. [I am] honored to be a part of it.”

For his part, Pistol commented, “I am so honored to have been a part of Under the Veil. Kenna James was magnificent in her role as Sister Kenna. Our scene together, for me, felt so personal and believable as two lovers struggled to be with each other under the church’s rule.”

He further observed, “Helene Locke absolutely blew me away with her portrayal of Mother Superior. Seriously, every aspect of this movie screams gorgeous, with Ricky Greenwood directing, Matt Holder as his lead cinematographer, they knew every frame had to be important. And in this movie, they achieve exactly that and more. Together they’re a force to be reckoned with. Kylie Ireland, David Lord [as] set designers along with the key grip Joel Sinclair were the cherry on top to this production. Even having the talented/amazing James Avalon as a part of this makes perfect sense. The special effects done by Alexxx Moon were chillingly outstanding. To be a part of an adult movie that manages to be controversial and entertaining is pretty exciting. I can’t wait for everyone to experience Under the Veil.”
